"I started NutriSystem seven months after my last chemotherapy treatment. I was already overweight, but gained 18 more pounds. "Well, after being overweight my whole life and turning 40 this summer, I decided I had had enough. Enough of being overweight and not wanting to get up and exercise. Enough of not caring enough about myself to work on being fit and healthy. Enough of my excuses about being overweight. Enough of being out of breath when I ran around the dog show ring (I show dogs as my main hobby). And enough of avoiding some social situations because of being overweight (have never gone to a high school reunion, because I wanted to go thin but have never been thin).
