]]> "My family attended a Super Bowl party on Sunday. We volunteered to bring the veggie tray. Smart idea, huh? Well, anyway, I made sure it was right in front of me at the table where the ladies gathered. I'll be honest; it wasn't easy. In fact, it was very hard to resist all the wonderful food. "I am two weeks into the NutriSystem plan, and I'm doing great! This doesn't even feel like a diet at all. The food is delicious, and I'm not craving more food, as much as I used to. I work with food all day.

Today, I was extremely tempted to eat a cookie as I was putting them away on the trays.

I'd pick it up, put it down, pick it up and put it down again. I wanted it so bad.

Then I looked at the nutrition facts and saw how many calories it was. Then I figured up the percentage of calories from fat.

I saw that and knew that eating the cookie just wasn't a good idea.

I'm so very proud of myself. I feel like a new me. The old me would have given in and then regretted it later.

Although there are a lot of things I can't control, I can control the food I eat.

"About two years ago, I became totally fed up with my body. I was 47 years old and felt like 90. I had no energy, my size 12s were getting tight around the waist and across the back, my thighs were rubbing together, my upper arms were flapping when I waved, and sometimes, I felt like I was going to explode. No matter what I ate or how healthy I thought I was eating, the pounds kept adding on. I am 5'10" and weighed 174 pounds. I decided to call the NutriSystem center close to my home. NutriSystem seemed so easy to incorporate into my life.

After 4 months on NutriSystem, I lost 20 pounds. Then I simply took what I learned using the NutriSystem entrees and the meal planning and worked it into my daily life. From January '99 to April '99, I lost another 20 pounds just eating my own food. I also became accustomed to the water intake. I drink about 73 oz of water a day now. Energy came back. I felt like doing projects around the house. I had my self-confidence and self-esteem back.

Now, two years later, I'm still a thin 130 pounds (size 8). Even my boss asked me to set up his meal planning, and he's lost 25 pounds. Everyone around me is drinking gallons of water and watching what they eat.

NutriSystem showed me how to eat, not what to eat. Nutrition is the key. If you eat right, eventually your cravings will subside. Learning portion control is important, also. NutriSystem gave me the portion size for my meals, and I just added the fresh vegetables and fruit.

I'm a firm believer in NutriSystem. My girlfriend and I tried another program, and I never lost an ounce. I still need the support to keep on track. Sometimes it's easy to slip into old routines, especially around a busy day. NutriSystem is giving people that support. The open communication is great. I have one suggestion. Could the cheese sauce in the macaroni and cheese be put in a separate little pouch so that the macaroni could be cooked first? "When I decided to join [NutriSystem.com], one of my greatest fears was that I was not going to be full, and hence I would not stick with the program. Well, I just ate lunch and I am stuffed and the food is really great. I am so happy. For once in my life I feel as though I have found what is really going to work for me. I have tried the pills and maybe they work for others, but as for me, well let's just say no one should approach me for positive testimonials. I feel healthy with NutriSystem. "I have been on NutriSystem for 2.5 weeks and have lost 10 pounds. I am now walking on a daily basis and drinking lots of water and taking multi-vitamins. I just wanted to say that I had gone on another program almost 3+ years ago and lost 40 pounds but this past year, I gained it all back. I wanted to go back to something but that program is just too expensive, and the meals are not that good.

So a friend suggested NutriSystem. Here I am happy as a lark! The food is great, I am never hungry like I was on the other program. Also, you can't take their food with you as a lot of it is frozen. I am going on vacation this month and plan to take my food with me.
