Broiled Mushrooms with Crabmeat

The next few recipes you and your family can enjoy for the holidays without feeling any guilt. These will be the perfect dishes to compliment any meals—whether you roast the turkey yourself or you're enjoying your NutriSystem meal. In this recipe, these mushrooms are a perfect cocktail party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms (about 1 pound) individually towel-dried
  • ½ pound fresh or pasteurized crabmeat
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-calorie mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon plain non-fat yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon crab seasoning
Directions:
  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms.
  3. Combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, yogurt and crab seasoning.
  4. Stuff the crab combination into the mushroom caps.
  5. Broil the stuffed mushrooms for 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a heated dish and serve at once.
