Holiday Turkey Breast with Gravy and Diced Potatoes
They say: Six slices of turkey and freshly diced potatoes make this meal a classic you'll love all year.
I say: Pffft! How can a holiday classic be so bad? The one saving grace, surprisingly, was the potatoes, but the gooey sauce combined with the weird hunk of turkey meat simply wasn't worth it. At all.
Orange Beef with Noodles
They say: You'll savor the unique taste of lean strips of beef covered in a tangy citrus sauce, including real orange peel.
I say: It has a unique taste, I'll give it that much. A mild orangey taste but it wasn't tangy. Beef was chewy and sauce a bit too thick.
Blueberry Low Fat Yogurt
They say: Just add water to enjoy this super yogurt made with real blueberries and added whey protein, great for people on the go.
I say: Bleeech! This came with the first order and I've been holding onto it for weeks. First of all why powdered yogurt? I can easily buy fresh yogurt at the supermarket. I can even get low-fat yogurt with fresh fruit from McDonalds. But I digress. After mixing it and letting sit in the fridge for 2 hours, it came out soupy. The taste? Weird. The blue chunks of dehydrated blueberries? Not good. I tried to eat it all but halfway through it turned my stomach. Next to the Lemon Poppyseed Muffin the worst food item I've eaten.
Lemon Poppyseed Muffin
They say: An instant classic, this lemon poppy muffin has a taste second to none.
I say: Uh...I seriously beg to differ. This was hard to swallow. Literally. Quite dry. The lemony flavor left such a weird after taste that I couldn't wait to wash it down with water. I think it's the first meal I have inducted into the "No way will I reorder!" category.
