Blueberry Low Fat Yogurt

Category One Star, Lunch

Blueberry Low Fat Yogurt They say: Just add water to enjoy this super yogurt made with real blueberries and added whey protein, great for people on the go.

I say: Bleeech! This came with the first order and I've been holding onto it for weeks. First of all why powdered yogurt? I can easily buy fresh yogurt at the supermarket. I can even get low-fat yogurt with fresh fruit from McDonalds. But I digress. After mixing it and letting sit in the fridge for 2 hours, it came out soupy. The taste? Weird. The blue chunks of dehydrated blueberries? Not good. I tried to eat it all but halfway through it turned my stomach. Next to the Lemon Poppyseed Muffin the worst food item I've eaten.

the first time I got this in an order, I was skeptical, but was surprised at how good it actually is!

I have to admit, that when I placed my first order back in August, NS sent me a Strawberry and a Blueberry lunch yogurt with my "free week of lunches". Since I already eat ff yogurt 2-3 times a day, I could not possibly eat another yogurt, so I pitched them both.

I was skeptical, and didn't eat the yogurts for months -- but I did take them to the office as "emergency" food. When I finally ate one, I was pleasantly surprised -- more like a dessert than a yogurt. The strawberry is more my favorite of the two.

Like another reviewer, I too eat a couple of yogurts per day, so I don't order a lot of these, but then again, it doesn't really seem like yogurt to me -- more like "freeze dried camping ice cream"!

I don't think the yogurt is necessary. We can purchase fat free and sugar free yogurt in the supermarket. I still have mine in the cupboard in case I run out of lunchs some day, but haven't tried it yet.

I agree with a few of the other posters where I already eat FF yogurt as my dairy, so why would I want to eat this? Plus it just does not look appetizing at all. I still have 2 or 3 sitting in my pantry.

This is actually very good. If you have some and haven't tried it, do so. It's great as a take along item for travelling. All you have to do is add some cold water. I like to mix in some Splenda, too. The strawberry tastse terrific, too. I do believe the yogurt is one of the most under-appreciated lunch entrees. Try it! You'll be glad you did.

I thought the same thing about the yogurt as many of you, why have it when I can use it as my milk serving? But I tried it and was glad that I did! It makes a lot more than you can have foe a regular protein seving.

It is good, really, but to me yogurt is breakfast food and I have a mental thing about having it for lunch.

This came with my first autoship....I hate blueberries so I didn't touch it. I also did not see the point of having dehydrated yogurt when you buy it at the store to supplement the program. The blueberry and strawberry are in my cupboard taking up space.

I LOVE the blueberry yogurt!

I know this stuff seems really weird...I mean, dried yogurt?? What's the point, right? LOL

But I love it!!! It really is more like a dessert than a lunch, but sometimes I just eat a great big salad with some ham or venison cut up in it as a protein serving for lunch, and then have this for an incredibly filling "dessert". It is scrumtious! I'm not sure it really tastes like yogurt, more like a nice dessert. I'm so glad I got over my initial misgivings and tried this one.
